A Trad Singing Festival in Ballymore Eustace next weekend will include a talk by Tommy Munnelly on 'songs of the supernatural'. It will be given in the Parish Hall on Saturday 21 October from 3.30pm.

That evening, Andrew Murray of De Danaan will perform in Headons from 8.30pm.

On Sunday 22 from 5pm, Mick Murphy's will host TG4 Singer of the Year 2006 Sean Garvey, along with Niamh Parsons.

The festival is sponsored by Foras na Gaeilge, Kildare County Council, Ballymore Properties, Headons, Mick Murphy, Fogarty's, MACE, Ciaran's Butchers, Elizabeth's Hair Salon, Costcutters and Tony Hanlon.

The committee also extends its best wishes to singer Greg O'Hanlon who recently celebrated his 70th birthday.
